The completed residential project Astrid Garden developed by UBM offers a total of 138 apartments with layouts from 1+kk to 4+kk and in areas ranging from 29.5 m² to 107 m², including two duplexes with private entrances. Each unit has its own cellar and parking space in a two-storey underground garage. In the apartment building, owners can use a bike room with a bike wash and a workshop. Residents can enjoy private gardens, roof terraces, as well as a quiet and green-rich courtyard.
In accordance with the name Astrid Garden, extensive greenery is planted on the roofs, and intensive greenery of various grasses and trees is planted at ground level. Parts of the roofs of the individual sections of the apartment building are planted with extensive greenery that produces oxygen, retains carbon dioxide, prevents overheating of the roofs, absorbs pollutants from the air, filters dust particles and prevents their swirling, mitigates the so-called heat island effect, reduces the temperature fluctuations between day and night, etc. Rainwater from a storage tank is available for roof irrigation. The residential project meets the current requirements for the use of renewable resources and the reduction of energy consumption.
The Astrid Garden residential complex in U Pruhonu Street is sensitively situated in the existing development. The residential building includes eight sections with two, four and six storeys. Thanks to this architectural concept, the sections are intimate in character as they have their own entrance and lift. It is a new building on the site of the former factory of the cosmetic brand Astrid with one renovated building facing U Pruhonu Street, which used to be the headquarters of the owner of this world-famous brand. This building offers impressive interiors with high ceilings.
