UBM launches new residential project Astrid Garden in Holesovice
UBM is launching the sale of Astrid Garden, a residential project to be built on U Pruhonu Street in Prague 7, which will include 138 apartments and two commercial units. Construction is underway from November 2021 and is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2024. The project is being developed with BREEAM environmental certification.
Astrid Garden offers a total of 138 apartments with layouts from 1 bedroom to 4 bedrooms and sizes from 29.5 sqm to 107 sqm, including two duplexes with private entrance. Each unit will have its own cellar and parking space in a two-storey underground garage. In the apartment building, owners will be able to use a bike room with a bike wash and a workshop. Future residents can enjoy private gardens, roof terraces, as well as a quiet and green-rich courtyard. Two commercial units will be located on the ground floor of the house in U Pruhonu Street.
In line with the name Astrid Garden, extensive greenery will be planted on the roofs, and intensive greenery of various grasses and trees will be planted on the ground floor level. Parts of the roofs of the individual sections of the apartment building will be planted with extensive greenery that produces oxygen, retains carbon dioxide, prevents overheating of the roofs, absorbs pollutants from the air, filters dust particles and prevents them from swirling, mitigates the so-called heat island effect, reduces temperature fluctuations between day and night, etc. Rainwater from a storage tank will be available for roof irrigation. The residential project meets the current requirements for the use of renewable resources and the reduction of energy consumption.
The Astrid Garden residential complex in U Pruhonu Street will be sensitively integrated into the existing development. The residential building comprises eight sections with two, four and six storeys. Thanks to this architectural concept, the sections are intimate in character as they have their own entrance and lift. It is a new building on the site of the former factory of the cosmetic brand Astrid with one renovated building facing U Průhon Street, which used to be the headquarters of the owner of this world-famous brand. This building will offer impressive interiors with high ceilings.
Holesovice, stretching along the meander of the Vltava River up to the Letenske plane hill, is characterised by rapid development, excellent civic amenities and transport accessibility. Within five minutes you can walk to a bus or tram stop and within 10 minutes to the metro station of line C or B. There is a ferry from Bubensky to Rohanske nabrezi.
